Welcome to Brodie's Blog! Brodie is the newest member of the Gilbert household! It has been 9+ years since we've had a puppy and it occurred to me that I counsel new puppy owners how to teach, care for, and raise their puppies on a daily basis, but I needed a refresher! This blog is going to be told by me and sometimes by the little man himself, documenting our successes and failures, our joys and hopefully no sadness in the near future!

Follow us on Facebook for notifications of new blog entries, ask questions via Facebook, Facebook messenger, or by email at myvet@lexingtonanimalclinic.net!

Brodie was born on November 9, 2018 to Rosie and Flint owned by Joe and Jayne Pollard. All the puppies had been reserved, but then a black male became available which is what we had been waiting for! Prior to us taking home our bundle of joy, they all came into the clinic for physical exams, their first Distemper combination vaccine, and an intestinal parasite check. We met the two black males, but still didn't know which one would ultimately be coming home with us.

January 6, 2019 - Puppy pick-up day! We travelled to North, SC to get Brodie aka Ethereal's Broadsword in the AKC Registry! Tune in next week to hear how I survived the first days of a new puppy in our household!

Dr Kristina Gilbert.

Love, love Lexington Animal clinic! All staff members are accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. They will go out of their way to make sure your fur babies are well looked after and you know step by step care for any treatments. You need a quick nail trim, they try to squeeze you in, forget to call in a refill in time, they'll do their best to get it there a few days earlier.
